“It’s believed that there are less than 500 of these animals left in the wild. Their existence isolated to a thin sliver of land along the edges of the Simien Mountains in the Ethiopian Highlands. On our recent Ethiopia expedition we trekked hard up a mountain carefully following two males, and once they realized we were harmless, allowed for an incredible up-close and personal experience with them. The Walia Ibex!”
